Since then, they've been the best-selling cookie in the US. So, here's to the Oreos we love to dunk, twist, and of course, enjoy!
History of Oreo Cookies
Sam J. Porcello, a former Nabisco food scientist, is credited with creating the modern Oreo cookie, which has been a popular snack for decades. His 34 years of work at Nabisco made life sweeter, and his Oreo cookie creation - now 108 years old - is enjoyed by cookie lovers across the globe. March 6 is the chosen day to celebrate National Oreo Cookie Day or National Oreo Day.
Classic never goes out of style. Oreo cookies are a century old and come in various colors, sizes, and flavors. More Oreo flavors come out each year. We can find double stuffed, thins, mini, Neapolitan, and Mega Stuf. Sometimes, they have limited edition seasonal cookies for the holidays. For example, Orange stuffed Oreos are available for a limited time in October to celebrate Halloween.
Oreos can be enjoyed in cakes too! Dunk them in milk, have them as a snack, share them, or keep them to yourself. No matter how we have them, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy the beloved Oreo!

Robert Redford
"I’m not sure I could trust a man who would bypass an Oreo in favor of vanilla wafers. It’s a fundamental character flaw, possibly a sign of true evil."
