INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ cups apples peeled and cubed
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Maple syrup – optional
- Walnuts – optional

Warm Apple Cider Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups apples peeled and cubed
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Maple syrup – optional
- Walnuts – optional
Instructions
- Place apple cider, almond milk, oats, cinnamon and vanilla extract into a cooking pot and cook for about 5 minutes on medium-high heat. Stir occasionally.
- In a separate sautee pan, cook apples, butter and brown sugar until apples become slightly soft and caramelized. About 5-6 minutes.
- Transfer oatmeal into a serving dish and top with apples, maple syrup and walnuts and serve.
